Margaret A. Porembski, MD

Dr. Porembski grew up in Lake County, Illinois and recently returned after many years of higher education.  She attended Marquette University, earning a bachelors degree in biomedical engineering.  She is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her surgical residency at Drexel University in Philadelphia.  She then went on to a hand fellowship at Integris Baptist Hospital and the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.  She was also a research fellow in tissue engineering at the Center for Engineering in Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.  She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.

Dr. Porembski specializes in hand surgery.  Her goal in treating each patient is to provide the best, most appropriate care for their hand problems.
